On November 7, 2011 LBG's Jennifer Rosendin participated in a career panel discussion at the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California, San Diego. The career panel was hosted by the IR/PS Development Club as a forum for alumni from different sectors of the development world to discuss issues in development.
On September 13, 2011, Ellis Byeon and Avishek Chhibber presented "Super Pavement - Porous Pavement Application on a Superfund Site" at the New Jersey Association for Floodplain Management's 7th Annual Conference held in Somerset, NJ. The presentation was co-authored by Stephen Trainer.
On January 25, 2011, Thomas Lewis presented "Getting Drawn by Others into Superfund Actions: Gowanus Canal Effects on Public Works, and Transportation and Transit Agencies in New York City" and "Be Careful of Potential Superfund Project Ripple Effects: Long-Term Transportation Implications of Passaic River Clean-up Alternatives on New Jersey Department of Transportation and Maritime Navigation" at the Transportation Research Board's Transportation Implications of Recent Stormwater and Superfund Decisions panel at its 90th Annual Meeting.

"Promoting African Trade and Regional Integration: the Tripartite FTA and the Role of Development Corridors" by Greg Gajewski, PhD, was published by the German Marshall Fund on August 30, 2011.
"The Future of Donor-Funded Transport Infrastructure in the Developing World," a report by Greg Gajewski, PhD, was published in the Global Infrastructure publication by Bingham McCutchen LLP.
"Peerless Pier Caps," by Julius Haas, PE, and John Tan, PE, was published on p. 76–80 of the November 2010 issue of Civil Engineering magazine.

Research

Extending our expertise to a wide range of industries, from construction to the garment and electricity industry, our researchers have contributed to the academic knowledge base on topics such as pro-poor economic growth, post-conflict development and poverty reduction. Past research has focused on countries such as Egypt, Timor-Leste, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Tajikistan.
