The Louis Berger Group is providing program management, construction management and design management services for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s move to Fort Meade, MD. Required by the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) decision, DISA’s new 1.1 million sf facility is located on a 96-acre campus and includes administrative space, conferencing facilities, operational command centers, a test and evaluation laboratory, warehouse space, state-of-the-art telecommunications, training facilities, a dining area, surface and garage parking and recreational areas. LBG’s duties include EIS preparation, master planning, programmatic requirements development, design/build contract document review, bid document preparation, design change management, cost estimate and construction schedule development, engineering consultation; and acquisition support. Throughout our four-year partnership with DISA, we have consistently responded to their changing needs with responsive and expert support.
Our client commended LBG’s work: "The Berger team has provided both the technical information and support we require, as well as the insights borne from their years of experience on other large and technically sophisticated projects. On behalf of DISA, I want to express our appreciation for the dedicated, high-quality service that Berger has provided to date. We hope to be able to continue to draw upon the talents of your exceptional team…" - David R. Bullock, DISA BRAC Executive
