The Louis Berger Group has been providing aviation consulting services to the FDOT for more than 10 years. During that time period, LBG has worked on multiple assignments including airfield design reviews, project management services, multiple facility inspections, and airport safety inspection services.
At Miami International Airport, LBG's Aviation Division has conducted a progress inspection services on behalf of FDOT for the new South Terminal Complex, the Airport’s people mover project, Concourse F passenger boarding bridge program, and has completed design review of the Security Operations Control Center.
At Key West International Airport, LBG has conducted design review of the Airport’s New Terminal Building and has consulted the Department with regard to security equipment improvements at the Airport.
LBG has also provided services at Opa-Locka Executive Airport and Marathon Airport, in addition to performing safety inspections 49 private airport and heliport facilities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
