The Louis Berger Group supported Orange County, New York under a multi-year contract to provide planning, engineering, construction management and day-to-day operational management services for the County owned Airport.
Since the inception of this assignment, LBG has provided management services that have resulted in both operational cost savings as well as increased revenue for the Airport. LBG updated the Airport’s five-year Capital Improvement Program and has proven instrumental in securing AIP funding for a number of capital improvement projects at the airport, including the extension of municipal water and sewer systems allowing for increased private development on the field.
Additionally, LBG has provided design and construction inspection services for security improvements including the installation of 2,500 feet of high security fence, four automated slide gates with access control, security lighting, 14 video cameras, and a digital video recording system. LBG also manages the Airport’s Environmental Program at the Airport and oversees day-to-day operations and maintenance activities.
