What We Do

We connect people, ideas and resources, developing innovative solutions to some of the world’s most challenging problems.

Rebuilding Post-Conflict & Fragile States

The Louis Berger Group is a leader in working with, and in, post-conflict environments, post-disaster environments, and areas of insurgency. For more than 20 years LBG has undertaken infrastructure and capacity building projects that address the sources and consequences of political and economic fragility. We have developed the specialized knowledge and experience to effectively implement complex, multidisciplinary, and multi-year activities, focused on rapid mobilization and responses tailored to local contexts.

Protecting the World's Natural Resources

The Louis Berger Group works on efforts worldwide to protect, conserve, preserve and restore the earth’s natural resources to ensure future generations are able to enjoy our land and waters. Our multidisciplinary teams of environmental scientists, planners, and engineers provide an integrated approach to addressing our clients’ needs from single-issue studies to the most complex of environmental challenges. We strive to ensure the progress we make in society today does not negatively affect our natural resources.

Preserving National & Historic Landmarks

The Louis Berger Group has more than 50 years of experience preserving the aesthetic, environmental, historical and cultural integrity of national and historic landmarks around the world. LBG’s multidisciplinary approach brings together the resources of our archaeologists, architectural historians, environmental scientists, engineers, planners and others to offer a unique cadre of expertise. From the Taj Mahal to the Washington Monument, LBG recognizes the significance and symbolism of such landmarks, and we are proud to support our clients in their efforts to preserve them for future generations.

Fostering Sustainable Livelihoods
