Susan Knauf

As vice president and chief learning officer, Ms. Knauf is responsible for the development and expansion of LBG’s Learning Initiative, a personnel training and development program. In her previous role, Ms. Knauf instituted a quality assurance system within the firm, developing client-specific quality assurance project manuals and standard operating procedures and conducting the project audits against those procedures and policies. Her extensive technical experience includes more than 15 years of remedial site investigations and engineering feasibility studies, environmental assessments and analyses, and analytical chemistry experience. Before her focus on corporate initiatives, Ms. Knauf worked as the chief regulatory specialist responsible for keeping current on state and federal environmental regulation issues. She has an MS in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and is a certified quality auditor.
