Thomas Lewis, PE
Group Vice President
As group vice president responsible for managing LBG’s U.S. Operations, Mr. Lewis oversees four major business units and all U.S. domestic operation projects. Mr. Lewis has more than 25 years of total experience in transportation, facilities and environmental engineering, environmental management and compliance, planning and environmental impact support, green design and renewable energy, and construction/program management support. He has served in various technical and managerial capacities during his two decades at LBG, most recently as business unit manager in charge of environmental and contingency services. Mr. Lewis received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Juris Doctorate in Environmental Law from Rutgers University. He currently holds Professional Engineering licenses in three states. Mr. Lewis has served for more than ten years as a national committee member and subcommittee chair of the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Waste Management and Resource Efficiency, also serving as a Task Force Chair over the past couple years for the American Council of Engineering Companies in New Jersey.
