| The Louis Berger Group is pleased
to present technical leadership for the MACRO II IQC through
our web-based Occasional Papers Series. The series highlights
a number of papers written by Dr. Greg Gajewski, Vice-President
and Director of the Social and Political Economic Development
Team and other members of the Louis Berger Group.
The following papers demonstrate the multi-disciplinary
nature of the LBG’s activities and the work of the
Social and Political Economic Development Team. The Team’s
institutional work focuses on improving the structure and
performance of key sectors, including public utilities and
the financial sector. This institutional work promotes pro-poor
economic growth and private sector development through policy
reforms. It also works at the macroeconomic policy level
to help our clients establish and maintain an environment
to provide the private sector with the appropriate incentives
to achieve a sustainable economic growth rate.
