The Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge needed to be rehabilitated and widened without changing the footprint of the bridge or impacting the environmentally sensitive Delaware River. Louis Berger provided design and construction services for the $1MM gun at Picatinny Arsenal in the mountains of New Jersey. Using the SCat Gun, developers can subject their designs to actual launch conditions (i.e., high accelerations and spin) and then recover the prototypes for physical inspection, bench tests and evaluation critical to the designer/engineer.    Más >

The Underground Construction Association of the Society of Mechanical Engineers chose the Narragansett Bay Commission Combined Sewer Overflow Abatement Program for its 2009 Project of the Year Award. Louis Berger was the Program Manager/Lead Design Manager for developing a comprehensive combined sewer overflow (CSO) abatement program that focused on the cities of Providence, Pawtucket and Central Falls, Rhode Island CSO service area.    Más >
