MORRISTOWN, N.J. — Louis Berger today released its 2017 Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Report, a biannual report outlining the company’s social, economic and environmental performance. This report serves as the public launch of the company’s new Global Sustainability Commitment.

“At Louis Berger, we are committed to fostering and maintaining a responsible and sustainable corporate culture that is reflected in how we work, how we manage our operations and how we engage with the communities where we live and deploy our talents,” said Jim Stamatis, Louis Berger’s chief executive officer. “This report is a vivid demonstration of our employees’ commitment to deliver on our brand promise to provide Solutions for a better world. I am honored to work with such a tremendously talented, committed and passionate group of individuals who are genuinely driven to make our world a better place.”

As a diverse multinational corporation, Louis Berger is delivering on its Global Sustainability Commitment through its operations, which reinforce a culture that values health and safety, integrity, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and financial success; through the firm’s work by delivering quality infrastructure and development programs creatively incorporated in our customer solutions by talented employees around the globe; and through its communities by advancing education in science, technology, engineering and math in support of future generations of engineers, planners, architects, scientists, project and construction managers, and other professionals.

This is the third report of its kind released by Louis Berger. The company has made significant improvements in each issue to enhance reporting data and metrics that will help the firm benchmark and improve its performance over time. The 2017 report introduces the company’s advanced Global Sustainability Commitment, which serves as the underlying structure of the report, detailing corporate goals and progress relative to the company’s work, operations and communities.

Titled “Celebrating our Natural World,” the 2017 report features award-winning photographs captured by employees as part of an employee-focused Explorers Wanted campaign, which celebrated the U.S. National Park Service’s centennial celebration.
