Narragansett Bay Commission Combined Sewer Overflow Abatement Program

Louis Berger won a 2010 ACEC Engineering Excellence National Recognition Award for the Narragansett Bay Commission Combined Sewer Overflow Abatement Program. The $320 million project is a three-phase multi-year effort to virtually eliminate sewer overflows into Narragansett Bay. Phase 1, completed October 2008, received the award. The project's groundbreaking took place in May 2001.

The ACEC annual Engineering Excellence Awards competition recognizes engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of innovation, achievement and value.
