Louis Berger was presented with an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of North Carolina Engineering Excellence Award for the Crabtree Valley transportation study. The Crabtree Valley area is a major regional activity center in Raleigh, N.C., for retail, office, hotels and housing, which is envisioned to have interconnected, urban-scale, mixed-use developments within a pedestrian and transit-accessible environment. The project was prepared for the city of Raleigh’s Public Works Department.

The ACEC annual Engineering Excellence Awards competition recognizes engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of innovation, achievement and value.
