Louis Berger was recognized for its work at the Knights of Pythias Greenwood Cemetery project in Philadelphia with a Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia (PAGP) Grand Jury Award. The 10-month cemetery relocation project allowed for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Hospital, located adjacent to the cemetery, to expand its campus and revitalize the 144-year-old cemetery. Louis Berger, on behalf of Philadelphia Healthcare Properties LLC, worked to preserve the historical and cultural resources of the cemetery consistent with the community.

The Grand Jury Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia celebrates recent achievements in historic preservation for preserving/protecting historic resources (in the built environment); historic building restoration, rehabilitation or adaptive reuse; sympathetic new construction or additions associated with historic properties; education or advocacy efforts related to historic preservation; or significant historic resources documentation (in the built environment).
