Morris Canal Greenway Feasibility Study

The Morris Canal originally extended from Pennsylvania to the New York/New Jersey harbor and served as a primary means of transporting goods in the region before railroads became a popular transportation means. The Morris Canal Greenway Feasibility Study examined ways to repurpose the Morris Canal as a cross-county greenway to connect communities throughout Passaic County, N.J., and link environmental, recreational, economic and historic resources.

The ACEC annual Engineering Excellence Awards competition recognizes engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of innovation, achievement and value.
