Route 33 Rocky Brook Bridge

Louis Berger won a Distinguished Engineering Award from the New Jersey Alliance for Action for the Route 33 Rocky Brook bridge project in Hightstown, N.J. The assignment required Louis Berger team members to quickly mobilize and rehabilitate the 100-year-old bridge, which was damaged in the wake of Hurricane Irene. The high-profile repair project was completed in a mere eight weeks, reducing costs while maintaining the historic aesthetic of both the bridge and the neighborhood.

The New Jersey Alliance for Action, as association focusing on capital construction and economic growth opportunities in New Jersey, recognizes projects for their uniqueness and positive impact on New Jersey's economy and environment with the Distinguished Engineering Award.
