Marcos Pantaleón, president at Louis Berger’s international design center of excellence in Santander, Spain, received a Medal of Professional Merit from the Scientific-Technical Association for Structural Concrete (ACHE) during the celebration of its Triennial Congress.
Pantaleón received this award in recognition of his 30-year career as a bridge designer. During the ceremony, Pantaleón shared some of the most relevant worldwide structural projects designed at the center, such as the Montabliz Viaduct Project, the highest viaduct in Spain; the Chacao Bridge Advisory Services in Chile, the longest suspension bridge in Latin America; and other outstanding works.
