The Serbian Government has selected Louis Berger to supervise the construction of the new Zemun – Borca bridge over the Danube River and accompanying motorway links (PT912). The aim of this project is to improve conditions for North-South transit traffic passing through Belgrade on the main Pan-European Corridors. In addition to the Danube crossing, the project includes development of a northern ring road around the City, linking Zemun with the Belgrade - Pancevo road.

The total length of bridge and motorway will be approximately 21.1 km. The Danube bridge has a total length of 1482 meters, including the main river spans and the approach structures on the left and right banks. The main structure of the bridge consists of continuous pre-stressed concrete box girders  A second major structure, consisting of a fly-over totaling 544 m in length, is planned to be built over the Belgrade to Pancevo Railway. Further structures will be constructed at the grade separated interchanges linking the route with the existing road network.
