WASHINGTON, DC – The Louis Berger Group is pleased to announce that Charlie Raubacher has joined its Washington, DC office as a vice president in the Program Management/Construction Management business unit. Raubacher will oversee program and construction management of state and local government programs. He brings to the firm more than 30 years of experience in program, project and construction management; development management; general contracting; project delivery methods and estimating.
Raubacher’s experience includes projects for headquarters and administrative office buildings; K-12; colleges and universities; museums; criminal justice facilities; water/wastewater facilities; healthcare facilities and infrastructure for private, city, county, state and federal clients. Previously he was the president of Heery Program Management and held senior vice president positions at Hill International (where he was involved with the Berger-Hill Joint Venture) and Parsons Brinckerhoff in addition to serving as an adjunct professor in the School of Civil Engineering Graduate Program at Georgia Tech, during which time he developed and taught the Construction Program Management course.
Raubacher holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a Master’s in Civil Engineering (Construction Management) and an M.S. in Engineering (Engineering Management). He is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC and a Construction Management Association of America Certified Construction Manager.
