MORRISTOWN, N.J.—The U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) recently awarded The Louis Berger Group (LBG) a $100 million capacity contract vehicle. Under the task-order-based contract, which was signed on March 12, LBG will provide engineering and architectural construction management services at embassy and consulate locations worldwide for the next five years.
“We’re excited to be working with OBO as a prime contractor again,” said Jeffery Willis, senior vice president of the firm’s regional program and construction management business unit. “We’ve had a very successful long-term working relationship with OBO through multiple contracts and we are happy to once again have the opportunity to continue providing quality services in support of their mission.”
LBG has supported OBO and its predecessor organization, Foreign Buildings Operations, since the early 1990s. In the past, LBG has provided facility assessments, maintenance plans, architectural designs, engineering studies, planning activities and construction management services in nearly 50 countries.
