WASHINGTON, DC – The Louis Berger Group is pleased to announce that David Daileda, FAIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as vice president and director of architecture. Daileda, based in Washington, DC, will manage the firm’s architecture practice and design team. With more than 40 years of experience, he will support the continued growth of LBG’s facilities design practice.

Daileda is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and served as president of its Washington, DC Chapter in 2009.  Daileda authored the program management chapter for the AIA publication, Architect’s Handbook of Professional Practice, Update 2006. He was also the AIA’s representative for the National Park Service Symposium on the Restoration of the National Mall.

Daileda, who comes to LBG from AECOM, where he was the architecture manager, has diverse architecture experience. He has worked with U.S. federal clients such as the NPS, U.S. Postal Service, Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Guard Bureau and Department of State. He also brings 15 years of aviation design experience, and several years managing commercial and higher education facilities design projects.
