Building Envelope Design Services for CUNY 
The City University Construction Fund (CUCF), on behalf of the City University of New York (CUNY) has awarded a Term Contract to A&W Architects and Engineers for Building Envelope Design Services on an as‐needed basis.  The duration of the contract is 3 years with a maximum fee of $5‐million. CUNY’s facilities within the five boroughs of New York City includes approximately 293 buildings at 23 institutions. CUNY is the largest municipal college system and the third largest university in the nation.
Runways and Storm Anchorages for Passenger Boarding Bridges at Cruise Terminal D and New Marine Dock Fenders at Cruise Terminal J for Port of Miami 
The Port of Miami has awarded Avart Ammann & Whitney a contract for marine engineering, structural design and construction inspection services.  The scope of work will include the design of concrete runway extensions and storm tie‐down anchorages for new mobile passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) at Cruise Terminal D. The project will also include the design of new marine dock fenders at Cruise Terminals D & J. 
The Port of Miami is recognized as the "Cruise Capital of the World" and "Cargo Gateway of the Americas.” It has retained its status as the number one cruise/passenger port in the world for well over two decades, Accommodating the largest cruise ships in the world.  Four million cruise passengers, 7.4 million tons of cargo, and over 1 million units of intermodal container traffic move through the seaport each year.  The Port is an important contributor to the local south Florida and state economies. 
Structural Engineering Inspection Services for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority  
Ammann & Whitney is one of three consulting firms chosen to perform structural engineering inspection services for the MBTA.  The scope of work required expertise in structural, geotechnical and foundation design and analysis and code review. Ammann & Whitney will be required to perform general structural engineering reviews and designs, prepare contract documents and provide investigations and construction phase services
